  • What type of printing press do you use?
    We utilize a digital offset color press capable of (VDP) Variable Data Printing. We print at 240 lines per inch or line screen and with electro-ink (CMYK) cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.
  • What type of plastic do you use?
    We use both recyclable and biodegradable plastic. A teslin/polyester base and polyester over laminate is our most common plastic material. This manufacturing process produces an extremely durable, visually pleasing and environmentally friendly plastic card.
  • Where are your plastic cards manufactured?
    The Plastic Card Factory manufactures each and every plastic card at our modern facility in Lake Worth, Florida.
  • What are your hours of operation?
    To better serve our customers from coast to coast, Plastic Card Factory is open from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm Eastern Standard Time from Monday thru Friday. In addition, our online store is open 24/7 for your convenience.
  • What about the design of my plastic card?
    At the factory, we are ready to help you; whether you need a complete design or a partial design. We work with all major artwork program files: pdf, psd, jpg, cdr, ai to name a few, and they can be easily uploaded to our website.   • What is a complete design?
    A complete design is print ready artwork that has been prepared by following all of our design specifications.
  • What is partial artwork?
    Incomplete artwork that has to be modified or finished by any of our graphic designers.
  • How do I submit a print ready design?
    • Download templates for exact bleed and trim instructions.
    • Design your card with professional design software like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or CorelDraw. (Word and Publisher files are not considered print ready designs.)
    • Convert your fonts in to curves.
    • Export your file in to a PDF format.
    • Make sure to include all the images used on your file to prevent delays or extra charges.
    • Make sure to have your order number in order to be able to upload artwork to our website.
  • Can I get a special size or shaped plastic card?
    Yes, we do offer specially designed cards. Simply call or e-mail your unique requirements and one of our card design engineers will be happy to assist you.

  • What is your turnaround?
    Our standard lead times are between 8 to 10 business days After Artwork Approval (AAA). Large Orders may require a longer lead time. Rush services are also available, and usually require a Rush Fee.
